For 2017 Guzzi is bringing three V7 models stateside Stone, Special, and Racer, as well as a fourth, limited edition Anniversario model. The V7 III’s steel frame maintains its double cradle layout with the same weight distribution of 46% front; 54% rear, but the headstock area was reinforced, and new steering geometry introduced.
Even at constant (lower-ish) throttle, it'll hesitate and change speeds. An ECU re-map, in my opinion, is a necessity to make this bike tolerable. Apart from fuelling, the V7 suffers from terrible suspension. It's over-dampened and absolutely terrible over rougher roads or, anything but perfect roads.
